Core Skills Wrap-Around Beginning September 15, 2021
Lori is channeling her passion for couple work and creative energy to offer fresh, new, micro-skill trainings for post EFT-Externship therapists, coaches, and ministry. These sessions are designed to make your EFT work more engaging and empowering for you, and more effective for your clients. Micro-skills are designed to be mastered quickly and easily, and put into practice the next day. Micro-skills will be taught in relation to couple work, and generally apply to work with individuals and families.
Beginning September 15, 2021 through April 20, 2021, Mocktail Hours will be designed to support and enhance the skill development of Core Skills participants. The goal of this series will be to move attendees faster toward EFT Certification.

- Continue to sharpen your skills and improve your outcomes.
- Connect with other members of the local EFT Community.
- Have a place to bring questions and stuck points from your current case load.

- engage in a small group format with your local EFT colleagues
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a structured approach to therapy developed by Dr. Susan M. Johnson, founder of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). It reflects the most recent research on the nature of individual and relationship distress, adult love, and emotion. Emotionally Focused Therapy is a ground-breaking approach to individual, couple, and family therapy. It is one of the most empirically supported models of couple therapy, is being taught all over the world, and is a must-know model whether you are working with couples, individuals, or families.

“The Mocktail monthly learning sessions with Lori are beyond awesome! Each time we met I came away with clarification, engagement, and one more step in feeling like I have a map to do this sometimes seemingly complicated but lovely form of couple’s therapy. The breaking down of the skills in bite size pieces was so helpful to my continual learning and grasping of EFT. I found the format of these sessions inviting and supportive. And….to watch Lori show us how to use the skills was more than amazing! I felt like I could go into sessions with my couples the very next day and use what I learned. The Mocktail sessions ignited an excitement for continuing my learning of EFT. Thank you for offering these sessions and I look forward to the next set of Mocktail sessions!

“I am confident in saying you will leave each session with very specific, applicable, effective tools to build your confidence and enhance your work with couples, individuals and families.
Joe Keller, LCSW, LAC, Kalispell
I enjoy the focus on seemingly subtle aspects of our work. We had the opportunity to think about what we normally don’t have enough time to give toward these things in typical EFT trainings. Having been to a few George Faller micro-skills trainings, this is a nice visit into “micro-micro skills.” We get to focus on things we don’t have time for in an externship, core-skills or even a Faller training.
